What we will accomplish together
As part of the opening of a new service center in Egypt, Astek is recruiting a Service Center & People Manager.
The center will bring together approximately 30 to 40 engineers working in a hybrid model (on-site presence 2 to 3 days per week).
The role aims to ensure the smooth daily operation of the center, provide close people management, and maintain regular operational coordination with a client based in Saudi Arabia.
Your mission :
Operational People Management & HR
- Ensure daily on-site presence to supervise the proper functioning of the center.
- Monitor employees’ attendance (compliance with on-site days, punctuality, consistency).
- Act as the main point of contact for engineers regarding day-to-day matters.
- Regularly assess team members’ engagement, behavior, and overall involvement.
- Identify sensitive situations (demotivation, conflicts, performance decline) and escalate them to Astek management.
Service Center Management
- Guarantee a structured and professional work environment aligned with client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with internal rules, best practices, and the working framework.
- Implement regular reporting (attendance, engagement, incidents, risk alerts).
Client Relationship
- Act as the operational point of contact for the client for any team-related requests, including:
- Information about team members
- Attendance or performance reports
- Overall service center follow-up
- Ensure smooth and professional communication with the client teams in Saudi Arabia.
- Escalate any strategic requests or issues to Astek management.
Your background:
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as:
- People Manager
- Project Manager
- Operational HR Manager
- Or a similar role involving team management
- Experience managing multiple team members (ideally 15+).
- Strong ability to manage hybrid teams (on-site / remote).
- Excellent sense of responsibility, organization, and communication.
- Ability to enforce structure while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Comfortable with reporting and information escalation.
- Fluent French or English (Arabic is a plus).
