Internships
Carrying out your end-of-study internship within Astek means evolving in an environment dedicated to learning and development. Our Group enthusiastically welcomes students from engineering schools or universities spread across France.
Once again this year, our teams are mobilized to welcome you as part of your end-of-study internship, a key step in preparing your entry into the professional world.
During these 6 months, your internship supervisor coaches you on a daily basis to give you a formative and enriching experience both technically and humanely.
Whatever your background, from technology to management, the Group offers a whole range of end-of-study internships. Depending on your preferences and the internship opportunities we offer, your internship will allow you to complete your knowledge and know-how, to discover the different aspects of our professions, to join dynamic and friendly teams, to flourish in the fields that you want to approach in your early career and potentially join us full-tile at the end of the internship.
Are you passionate about new technologies (cloud, digital, cybersecurity), engineering (software, electronics, systems) or attracted to management? We offer more than 100 internships each year throughout France.
Among these, there is the internship that suits you and awaits you.

Our other internships
Digital Factory
The Group’s Digital Factory opens its doors to final-year engineering students, and offers you throughout France more than 50 internship subjects on its main projects: Cloud Explorer Portal, Watcher SecOps, Blazing Fast Web Applications, Event-driven Cloud Architecture, Machine Learning as a Service, Move to Cloud.
“We had to propose a personal project to our tutor with a research problem concerning the use of data for the creation of a Machine Learning model hosted on a Cloud infrastructure. We were totally free regarding the choice of subject […]”
Clément, intern at the Digital Factory
Innovation Lab
The Innovation Lab’ offers Research and Innovation oriented internships oriented, “student-centered”, on themes such as mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, embedded systems, signal processing, image processing, computing architectures, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity or software development. Several projects around these themes are currently being carried out.
Your internship will consist, on a given subject, in analyzing and critiquing the state of the art to identify the uncertainties addressed by the project, organize and carry out the design work to remove the technological locks, experimentally establish the performances, develop new knowledge that could be published in scientific journals and capitalize on all of your work to justify choices and continuation of this project.
Your project will develop your engineering skills on the innovation lifecycle. You will be responsible for the complete project: scoping of the work, modeling and implementation of the solution, experimental validation of the performance. You will implement the Astek innovation development methodology. You will develop your ability to synthesize and your technological expertise. You will improve your oral and written, marketing and technical reporting skills.
“My internship in Astek’s Innovation Lab’ began in April and my mission was to create a Machine Learning tool to offer scientific articles based on search habits and user preferences.
Every Thursday, we presented our internship topics and our progress to the Group’s managers. It was very interesting because it allowed us to check our progress points and see how to improve from there […]”
Ilyas, intern at the Innovation Lab
Cybersecurity
The Group offers security or cybersecurity oriented internships, within our Security team in Rennes, around subjects aimed at developing our Integrated Management System (ISO 27001 certified) and at improving our information sysyem security. The different internships can cover GRC-type subjects (Governance, Risk Management and Compliance) or more technical subjects (implementation or development of security solutions).
These internships, directly linked to major issues for the Group, call on technical cyber skills but also require a strong appetite for analysis and human relations.
“At school we are taught the theory, not necessarily the use of certain tools. We have an overview but which does not necessarily give a precise perception of the stacking of layers and tools necessary for cybersecurity. Thanks to the internship, I can position myself in practice at the operational level and gain experience using the company’s IT environment.”
Alban, cybersecurity intern
Engineering
Come and carry on your internship in Engineering, oriented design or industrial production, like those taking place in our production site in Lyon, around subjects such as the design and manufacturing of test benches, or connected industrial systems, based on sensors and electronic cards.
These internships call on various skills in the Group, including analog and digital electronics, power electronics, networks and servers, databases, optics, vision and digital imaging, and a full set of development languages and environments.
“I am working on a project within the Industrial Department. I am involved in the development of new test benches for motor vehicle alternator regulators, particularly automobiles. The project has a real stake since it is a question of answering a strong request of our customers. “
Thomas, Engineering Intern
Business Management
The Group offers business management-oriented internships, within a sales team, coached by an experienced Business Manager. Each internship covers aspects of business engineering, intrapreneurship, business development and building project teams in a given sector.
The Group’s Business Management internships call on relational and field skills, in contact with customers and consultants, organization and determination in the development of new growth levers, and the achievement of commercial objectives.
This experience will teach you to understand the technological challenges of a sector of activity, to carry out actions to identify new customers, detect projects, and recruit, set up and manage a team of consultants.
“The objective that had been set for me by my tutor, Arnaud, was to build my perimeter. Thanks to the market research that I carried out, I identified industrialists and companies in the tertiary sector in strong development, and thus having new projects to carry out.
To carry out these projects, some of these companies lacked the technical skills. My objective was then to provide them with the appropriate skills, and thus find and recruit new employees.”
Alexander Business Manager Trainee
Mergers & Acquisitions
The Group offers internships centered on its mergers and acquisitions operations and preliminary market studies. This activity is part of its 2024 development plan, which is built around the will to accelerate our external growth operations in France and internationally. Within the external growth department, at the heart of the Group’s strategy, you will support the team by:
- Carrying out market studies, identifying potential targets.
- Carrying out preliminary analyzes (technical, commercial and financial) of acquisitions projects.
- Participating in the daily activity of the department (updating of databases, monitoring and logging of transactions, etc.).
- Supporting the acquisition process itself.
Recruitment
During your internship as a Recruitment Officer for the Group, you will be a privileged interlocutor for managers and candidates and will take charge of identifying various profiles: consultants & engineers in the IT (Information Technology) or Engineering sectors.
Attached to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will study the needs expressed by managers, identify candidates (sourcing on job boards, using ATS software and social networks, writing job ads, etc.), pre-qualify the selected profiles and support them throughout the recruitment process. You will learn how to animate your candidate pool, integrate new employees and ensure the recruitment activity reporting.
In parallel with your gain in autonomy, the internship will give you the opportunity to intervene on complementary subjects such as Employer Brand development (communication on social networks in order to develop Astek’s visibility, participation in recruitment events, development of partnerships with schools, etc.) or human resources administration (drafting of employment contracts for future employees and preparation of their hiring file, etc.).
Quality & CSR
The Group invites you to participate in its continuous improvement approach by defining, then implementing, action plans allowing you to quickly acquire a set of certifications and labels in the field of Quality or Corporate Social Responsibility. Within the Quality Department, on the Lyon site, you will work in close collaboration with the Quality & Environment Director.
Based on the expertise obtained during our certifications on the Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) and Information System Security (ISO 27001) standards, you will work with us to extend this quality approach in new areas.
The internship may cover projects concerning Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001), the Business Safety Improvement Manual (MASE), ISO 9100 (aeronautics and space), CSR Labels (such as the Lucie Label), or some projects relating to COP 21 such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). The internship may also cover the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations (UN) as part of the UN Global Compact project.
“Thanks to my internship within the Group, I now know how to approach Quality and Environment challenges, and more generally the CSR of a company.</ p>
Before doing my internship, I had some reluctances regarding big companies; in particular I feared I wouldn’t be listened to as an intern. On the contrary, I was given the necessary autonomy to learn how to organize myself and develop my skills. I now feel ready to enter the business world.”
Emma quality and CSR intern
